UPDATE: Queen of the South is now available to stream on Netflix in the US and Canada. If you missed my episode when it aired on 8/25/2016, now is your chance to check it out on Netflix.
It's been a long, slow summer. But, I finally have some new work to show off. If you check out Queen of the South, Season 1 Episode 10, you can catch me as Lonny. You'll recognize him by his dashing good looks and his classic Lonny accent. The episode aired on 8/25/2016 and is available to purchase on Amazon Video, just in case you need to have something to hold over my head in the future. Enjoy! Let's see how good everyone is at picking out my large, hunched shoulders in a line up of dark, bearded scoundrels. This is a still from Season 2: Episode 4 of Robert Rodriguez's From Dusk Til Dawn. My scene got cut down to only a split second of my back. So, now we get to play the 'find Matt Rudd' game. And...Go!
IWell. We just wrapped on two Dual Tape Deck productions recently -- actually one and a half -- so I figured that I should share some photos. We're taking a break after shooting the first half of our most recent feature film, Saratoga Lights and we wrapped completely on a short film project called Riding In A Pedicab At Midnight. I have pictures below of both shoots. Enjoy!
Well. Randall has done it again. I've always been a fan of his camera work but the shots he's getting for our new film are the best that he's ever done! Below is the first teaser trailer for our latest film, 'Saratoga Lights'. As always, follow Dual Tape Deck on all your social platforms for more information. All of the great behind the scenes work has officially been completed on the 'Space Adventure' pilot episode. Please watch it and share your love with Jena, Zip and Andy at Slap Happy Pictures. Share it, pitch it to your network executive friends, option it for movie rights, etc. Enjoy!
It's been an awesome year so far at DTD Films. Our latest film, "Nowhere To Nowhere", is officially done, premiered and making its way around the Texas festival circuit. We're currently in the middle of shooting our most ambitious (and fun) project to date, "Saratoga Lights". And, to top it all off, we're starting to slate dates for a little passion project that Randall and I came up with whilst filming N2N. I don't want to spoil anything, but there will be puppets involved! Thanks to everyone who made it out to any of our shoots, our fundraisers and our premier! And, if you don't already, follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and our DTD website. Happy early New Year! Matt
It's funny to see myself in scenes like this...
Here's some awesome 'Space Adventure' fan art from the very talented Christian McGowan. You may recall the large, red, alien creature that I played earlier this year.
